KING OF LATE NIGHT TV
About
He has performed in the top comedy Clubs including LA’s Comedy Store, Improv and major resorts in the Catskill Mountains, including Browns, Kutchers and Brickmans, where he met his wife of over 20 years. In 1987 Toronto Canada was known as Hollywood North, the Bronstein’s packed their bags and moved to Toronto, Canada where they currently reside.
Bronstein is the Guru of late night television! “Where I go, people are always imitating the shtick I do on my crazy shows!”
Some of Bronstein’s credits include working with the likes of Jerry Lewis, Rita Moreno, Al Pacino, Ellen Barkin, John Goodman, Robert De Niro and Jackie Mason. After years of success on USA Networks Hit Sitcom Dog House, CBC’s Toronto After Hours, CHCH TV’s Hollywood Camera, David decided to create his own production company, producing late night entertainment shows with himself as the Star!
David bought his way into the late night line-up creating a new generation of television viewer-ship through the wee hours of the night. “My agent couldn’t book Lassie into a kennel” claims Bronstein, “which is why I produced my own shows to appear in”. The method to his madness was that if he put beautiful women in a club atmosphere and the home viewer could pick up the phone and talk to them, who would change the channel. Now he is raising the bar.
As if the bikini clad babes from his Dial-A-Date late night shows weren’t enough, now he’s in search of the next American Stripper with the it factor. Bronstein is now teaming up with celebrity judges Ron Jeremy and Sunny Lane, so this is sure to be a hit! With a grounded home life, his wife and kids adore him. He remains true to himself and those close to him, with his number one priority being his family and health. Bronstein’s success comes with his attitude of going for the Brass Ring. His positive energy and perseverance for success should be bottled; we could all benefit from Bronstein.
